Q. I will be coming to Minnowbrook for a conference. What should I bring? What is the weather like? What if I want to ski?

Q. Who should I contact if I have dietary issues?
A. Bring any dietary issues to the attention of on-site Director, Kevin Callahan.
Q. When are meal times?
A. The signal of mealtimes is given at the start of each meal, announcing the opening of the dinning hall. Meals are informal; prompt arrival is appreciated. Late-night snacks are served in the Main Lodge lounge after dinner.
Q. Where should I park my vehicle?
A. Please park in designated areas only for safety reasons. Main Lodge parking is located past the classroom and across the bridge. You may unload your vehicle in front of the lodge and then proceed to the designated parking area. Greenhouse and Lawnhouse Parking is located at Upper Hillside. Additional parking is available across from the Caretaker's house.
Q. Is this a smoking facility?
A. No. Smoking is limited to the outdoors.
Q. When is check out?
A. Due to our busy conference schedule, check out time is 9:30 AM on the day of your departure. Public restrooms are available in the Main Lodge, Classroom and Lawnhouse.
Q. Can I make telephone calls?
A. Yes. Every room has a telephone but you will need a long distance telephone card to make long distance calls. Cell phone reception in Blue Mountain Lake varies depending on your carrier.
Q. Are the rooms heated?
A. Yes. However, the heat cannot be adjusted by room. Thermostats are located in main hallways and regulated by the Caretaker.
